We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, WhatsApp number, country, employment history, skills, job preferences, and subscription details. We also collect technical data: IP address, device fingerprint (via FingerprintJS for anti-abuse), browser type, and usage data. We do not collect or store your bank account details directly, payments are processed securely by Flutterwave.
Your data is used to: personalise your job matches, send job alerts via email, verify your identity via email OTP, prevent fraud and abuse, process subscription payments, calculate and pay referral credits, generate AI-powered CVs tailored to your profile, and improve the Platform. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or tax compliance. AI-generated CV content is stored temporarily and is associated with your account for history purposes only.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may update your profile information from your dashboard settings. To request full data deletion or export, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 14 working days. You may also opt out of email alerts at any time via your notification settings.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. While we take reasonable precautions, no online system is 100% secure. Please use a strong, unique password and do not share your login credentials.
VipRemota is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child has registered, we will promptly delete their account and associated data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or a dashboard notification. Continued use of the Platform after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
